The art of coping is a mechanism that one uses to grapple or contend with unpleasant circumstances in one’s life.
Whatever unhappy, inconvenient or distressing situations, issues or matters, coping is an art that is developed.
If we are coping with stress, coping with depression, coping with grief, coping with divorce, coping with loneliness, or coping with emotions, there are coping strategies, coping techniques and a coping mechanism for us to choose and try ourselves.
Whatever it may be, there are coping mechanisms for stress, coping mechanisms for depression, coping techniques for anxiety and coping techniques for stress. Yes, coping mechanisms and techniques for stress, cause there seems to be so much of that emotion in our everyday lives.
The meaning or definition of coping is to struggle, or to come to terms with, or deal with some predicament, hardship or unpleasant issue.
When one is faced with responsibilities and problems arises, coping with the situation entails responding adequately to endure, come through and persevere.

The skills developed are actually the methods we utilize in dealing with tough moments and occurrences.
Coping methods we use may be different for other people. There may be distinct capacities and options one can choose to apply at any point in time.
Methods could be techniques, tactics, procedures, approaches, mechanisms, or ways. Whatever the words, they are just the tools we use to apply to our particular situation to effect a remedy.
Sometimes we have to use alternative measures. But all in all, whatever is the best fit at the time to overcome our predicament, we deploy.
The range of coping methods varies and ranges from a listening ear to professional help.
Coping methods can be seeking a friend or family member to listen and understand our affairs.
Seeking out therapy groups.
Spiritual counseling with a pastor or minister.
Praying with groups, friends, family and organizations in fellowship.
A positive mindset.

Granted, my coping with my issues may require different remedies, treatments, healing, or cures.
And you may be creative enough at times, to get out of difficulty or distress using means that you have developed.
